Florida Drawbridges, Inc. brings the focus of a company that specializes in drawbridges. Our team consists of an existing staff of highly trained safe bridge operators, and maintenance personnel; including electricians with 12 years average experience and mechanics with an average of 15 years of experience, a project manger with 16 years drawbridge experience and a management staff that has managed the operation of these structures and others for more than 9 years.

We have the lowest incident rate of any bridge operating company in the state, and our maintenance has resulted in the lowest downtime. Our experienced staff has provided exemplary recovery services in four South Florida counties during the last two historical hurricane seasons.

Florida Drawbridges, Inc. has teamed with a qualified inspection contractor, Lochner, who is a leader in the inspection field and is familiar with all F-DOT reporting requirements including, the PONTIS, EDMS, and MMS systems.  We maintain relationships with Department qualified contractors and consultants to assist as necessary to anticipate and resolve any issue that may arise.  Together with our committed consultants, our team has designed and executed all aspects of bridge repair work from minor repairs to major rehabilitations.

We provide a capable and comprehensive collection of drawbridge specialists, as well as the financial resources and methodologies to operate, maintain and repair the drawbridges, fenders and navigational lighting systems.  

FINANCIAL CAPABILITIES

Florida Drawbridges, Inc. has the financial strength required to manage any bridge project. We have successfully completed contracts for the maintenance, repair and operations of drawbridges totaling more than $33 million.  We were recently awarded a 7 (seven) year asset management contract in Miami-Dade County to maintain their drawbridges, fenders and navigational lighting systems.

Our current assets total over $1.5 million of which more than $1 million are in cash assets ready to support any need that may arise.  Our Asset to liability ratio is 15.38 to 1 and our debt to equity ratio is .034 to 1.  These numbers far exceed the ratios of solvency recognized by GAP of 2 to 1 and 1 to 1 respectively.

We have had an ongoing business banking relationship with the Bank of America for 9 years.  We have an open line of credit with BOA available at our need, although Florida Drawbridges, Inc. currently has no outstanding loans or notes payable.
