COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT In the pursuit of community satisfaction, Florida Drawbridges, Inc. works with the community to enhance the public’s understanding of the complexities of drawbridge operations by responding to their concerns and issues. We have contacts with the local police departments, tug boat captains, sailing clubs, homeowners associations, as well as business owners to provide a responsive service which we are ultimately providing for the public’s satisfaction.

We make ourselves available to speak at meetings about the Drawbridge Operations, and also invite the different users of the bridges to come to our training classes or meet with us to share their concerns. Part of our ongoing business planning is fostering this open communication by working with the public. In this way we find the most efficient way to allow for the safe passage of vessels while also allowing for the free and safe flow of vehicular traffic. We are able to keep users informed of delays and also teach our bridge operators how to meet the public's needs.
