MAJOR BRIDGE REPAIR Florida Drawbridges, Inc. has experience in major bridge rehabilitations in the areas of electrical, mechanical and minor structural repairs. This experience has been gained during our nine years of experience and our project manager who brings 25 years of experience to the company. Electrical rehabilitations include repair and installation of controls (PLC and relays), lighting systems, span drives (VFD-DC), hydraulic control systems, and sub-cable installation including design plans.

Mechanical projects include hydraulic cylinder installation, removal and repair, lock systems installation and repair, welding repairs, installation of traffic gates and housing, span live and dead load shoe repair, and minor deck replacement. We also have experience with gearbox inspections and repairs, as well as open face gears and pinions.

Structural repairs include securing bridges for major constructions, girder straightening, counter weight work, handrails constructions, and balancing.

Florida Drawbridges, Inc.also has bridge demolition experience. This includes identification of salvageable parts, proper removal of parts and labeling.  This also includes identification hazards and proper disposal of oils and fluids, and other environmentally sensitive items.
