LAURA PORTER - OPERATIONS MANAGER/OWNER

The Founder and President, Laura Porter, has led Florida Drawbridge since she created it in 1997.  She has ultimately been responsibility for the management and supervision of over 400 direct employees operating and maintaining fifty-five moveable bridges concurrently.  Her professional background includes Experimental Microchip Technician for Intel, Medical Systems Field Service Technician for General Electric, and Environmental Health and Safety Manager for Industrial Resource Group.  Mrs. Porter’s experience in simple and complex electronics, business law, management and contract compliance gives her the intellectual tools needed to build and lead a successful technical business.  Laura Porter designed all managerial, procedural and operational aspects of Florida Drawbridges, Inc., specifically pertaining to the moveable bridges of South Florida.
